Terms and Conditions
1. Registration with the Mission Critical Development Inc. (“MCD”)
- By registering for our in-person or online course, you agree to:
- Provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the relevant registration form.
- You agree to be contacted by Mission Critical Development about upcoming events and news. You can opt out of these notifications at any time.
2. Booking a face-to-face training or e-learning course
- Face-to-face training and e-learning courses can be booked via the booking forms available on the MCD website.
- When you submit a booking for an online course, your submission represents an offer to the MCD to book you onto the course you selected.
- The MCD will accept your offer by entering your booking onto the MCD system and sending you an email confirming that you have been booked together with information on starting your learning.
3. Prices, discounts and sales taxes/VAT
Early bird discounts are available on face-to-face and online training courses. The early bird discount applies to MCD courses. The discount is not available in conjunction with any other offer and places are subject to availability.
Currently we are unable to accept credit and debit card payments. An invoice will be mailed to the provided address within 14 days of registration. A invoices are to be paid with 30 days unless otherwise noted in writing or a 15% fee will be added.
Please note that if you do not provide accurate details (including name and address), your application will be deemed void. MCD will not accept any liability for costs incurred as a result of applications deemed void in this manner.
Sales taxes (VAT, TVA etc.) are charged at the applicable rate depending on the product and/or customer.
5. Prevailing terms and conditions
All services provided by MCD are on the basis of these Terms and Conditions. If you offer to engage MCD on your own terms and conditions or opt-out of any terms and conditions outlined in this document, you must notify MCD via email with your new terms and associated justification to email@example.com.
1. Face to face training
Whilst we make every effort to keep changes to the site to a minimum, we reserve the right to make any amendments to the terms and conditions at any time to reflect changes affecting our business, including but not limited to, changes in technology, payment methods and legal and regulatory requirements. By continuing to use this site you agree to accept any changes made to the terms and conditions.
The face-to-face training course fees include: tuition on the day(s), all relevant course materials in hard copy (but please note that under no circumstances will any electronic version be provided, whether before, during or after the training course), refreshments and lunch.
2. Ownership and intellectual property rights
All materials, whether on thewebsite or at atraining day, are owned by the MCD. All intellectual property rights in all materials available from the course, including the design, graphics and text of all printed materials and the audio of all webinars and podcasts, are owned by the MCD. Nocontent may be copied, reproduced, uploaded, posted, displayed or linked to in any way, in whole or in part, without the MCD’s prior permission. Any such use is strictly prohibited and will constitute an infringement of the MCD’s intellectual property rights.
3. Digital Photography
By registering for our face-to-face course, you hereby consent to the photographing of myself and the recording of my voice and the use of these photographs and/or recordings singularly or in conjunction with other photographs and/or recordings for advertising, publicity, commercial or other business purposes. The term "photograph" as used herein encompasses both still photographs and motion picture footage.
You further consent to the reproduction and/or authorization by Mission Critical Development to reproduce and use said photographs and recordings of my voice, for use in all domestic and foreign markets.
You release Mission Critical Development and any of its associated or affiliated organizations, their directors, officers, agents, employees and customers, and appointed advertising agencies, their directors, officers, agents and employees from all claims of every kind on account of such use.
3 Health and safety at the face-to-face training course
You must comply with all health and safety rules and regulations and any other reasonable security requirements that apply at the premises at which the training courses are provided.
MCD reserves the right to remove any participant from a training course whose behavior is deemed inappropriate by the MCD or its trainers. In these circumstances, the MCD will neither refund any fees nor reimburse any other costs.
4. Invitation letters
Should a participant require an invitation letter from the MCD, we are able to provide this. MCD is not able to act on behalf of the participant and is not responsible for any costs incurred by failure to obtain a full visa. All travel and visa fees will be the responsibility of the participant.
MCD shall provide such trainers to present the training course as is, in its sole discretion, deems fit and the MCD shall be entitled at any time to substitute any trainer with any other person who, in the MCD’s sole discretion, it deems suitably qualified to present the relevant course.
The MCD does not accept responsibility for anyone acting as a result of information in, or views expressed on, its training courses including course materials. Opinions expressed are those of individual trainers and not necessarily those of the MCD. Participants should take professional advice when dealing with specific situations.
7. Participant travel and accommodation
The participant is solely responsible for all costs associated with travel, lodging or other accommodations needed to attend the training.
8. Ownership and intellectual property rights

All intellectual property rights in all materials available from the courses, including the design, graphics and text of all printed materials and the audio of all webinars and podcasts, are owned by the MCD. When you are given access to the materials, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the materials. No content may be copied, reproduced, uploaded, posted, displayed or linked to in any way, in whole or in part, without the MCD’s prior permission. Any such use is strictly prohibited and will constitute an infringement of the MCD’s intellectual property rights.
The MCD does not warrant that the provision of any content online will always be available or be uninterrupted, timely or error free, that defects will be corrected or that such content is secure or free from bugs, viruses, errors and omissions.
The MCD does not accept responsibility for anyone acting as a result of information in, or views expressed on, its training courses, including course materials. Opinions expressed are those of individual trainers and not necessarily those of the MCD. Participants should take professional advice when dealing with specific situations.
1. Cancellation of a face-to-to face training course
If you notify the MCD in writing (by email or post) that you wish to cancel a face-to-face training course not less than 5 days before the start date of a course, you will be entitled to a 100% refund. Refunds will be processed with 5 days of receiving your request via bank transfer to the original payer.
If the reason you need to cancel a face-to-face training course is because you have been declined a visa, we can issue a full refund as long as you have proof that your visa has been declined and you give us at least 15 days' notice.
If you withdraw for any reason less than 5 days before the start date of a course, a 50% refund will be issued but you may transfer your place on the course to a substitute. Substitutions should be notified to the MCD at least 48 hours prior to the course start date. If you fail to attend the course on which you are booked without giving prior notice to the MCD, we are unable to refund the course fees or offer a transfer.
2. Transferring your place on a face-to-face training course
There is no charge for transferring your booking to the same course on an alternative date provided you notify the MCD in writing not less than 5 days before the start and if there is availability. If you transfer your booking you will not receive any refund, and you will not be entitled to transfer more than once. You must make any request to transfer a course in writing, which may be sent by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
3. Cancellation of an e-learning course
Once you have booked an e-learning course or package the fee is non-refundable and the booking non-transferrable. If you cancel any e-learning course or package you will not be entitled to any refund, nor will you be able to transfer your place either to another person or onto another e-learning course.
