This two-day course covers the fundamental skills, concepts and techniques for managing development projects through the project lifecycle, start to finish.  Participants use examples from current projects in the development sector and adaptive management methods for maintaining many changes and issues that occur in project implementation.  Each participant receives a "Project Management Supplement Workbook" that provides them with a knowledge management resource for their reference, Action Planning Template and a skills builder section that can be used to teach others in their organization. This highly participatory course has numerous successful tools, templates and internal control methods for daily project work and class exercises that provide the opportunity to immediately apply new learning.

The PM 2 Day course course content is directly beneficial for participants who plan to take the APMG administered Project Management for Development Professionals (PMD Pro) Level 1 certification exam on their own. (The APMG exam is not included in this course offering however, participants are provided free access to MCD's certification exam prep materials)
